These Guidelines ensure Zaytun AI remains a safe, welcoming, and halal space for everyone.
They apply to all videos, livestreams, shops, and interactions on our platform.

🕊 Content Moderation Principles

To keep Zaytun AI safe and halal, we:

  • Remove prohibited content (e.g., hate, nudity, violence, scams, or un-Islamic behavior).
  • Restrict adult or mature content to 18 +.
  • Filter “For You” feeds to highlight content that meets our ethical, creative, and technical standards.
  • Monitor LIVE Sessions for safety; hosts must moderate and report violations.
  • Fact-Check Health and Faith Topics to prevent misinformation.
  • Empower Users with blocking, comment filters, and report tools.
  • Continuously Review policies through audits and feedback.

🤝 Respect and Inclusivity

  • Honor Cultures and Faith Traditions. Avoid mocking religious practices or misrepresenting Islamic teachings.
  • No Harassment or Hate Speech. Do not target anyone based on religion, ethnicity, gender, nationality, or views.
  • Positive Dialogue. Express disagreement with adab (courtesy); no insults or humiliation.
  • Respect Privacy. Never expose private information or imagery without consent.
  • Promote Good (Amr bil Ma’ruf). Create content that uplifts the ummah and strengthens community ties.

🧒 Youth Safety

  • Minimum Age: 16 + to join; 18 + for LIVE or monetization.
  • Stricter Privacy Settings for minors.
  • Zero Tolerance for child exploitation or inappropriate content involving minors — violations are reported to authorities.

🛡 Safety & Civility Policy

Absolutely prohibited:

  • Violence, criminal activity, or incitement.
  • Hate speech or hateful organizations.
  • Harassment, stalking, or bullying.
  • Sexual harassment or exploitation.
  • Human trafficking or smuggling.
  • Threats to life or safety (we will contact authorities).

Guidance:

  • Respectful debate is welcome; degrading speech is not.
  • Survivor stories or awareness posts must avoid graphic detail and respect privacy.

💚 Well-Being & Self-Care Policy

  1. Suicide & Self-Harm: No promotion or graphic depiction. If you see someone in danger, report immediately.
  2. Body Image & Food Culture: Encourage healthy relationships with food — no promotion of starvation, extreme dieting, or harmful supplements.
  3. Dangerous Challenges: No risky food stunts or acts that could injure viewers. Warnings required for professional demonstrations.

🌸 Modesty and Sensitive Content

Zaytun AI is a family-friendly, Islamic-value-based platform.
We do not permit:

  • Nudity, sexual content, or explicit behavior.
  • Suggestive acts or dances meant to sexually provoke.
  • Promotion of haram relationships or services.
  • Objectification of men or women.
  • Use of music or imagery that conflicts with Islamic values in public feeds (if shared, it must be clearly educational or contextual).

🕌 Faith and Religious Integrity

  • Respect Scholarly Differences. No mockery of Islamic sects or schools of thought.
  • No False Religious Claims. Do not present personal opinions as fatwas or religious rulings without qualification.
  • Dawah Content. Encouraged if authentic, respectful, and free of hate toward others.
  • Interfaith Dialogue. Welcome when conducted with wisdom and respect.

🛍 Halal Commerce & Integrity Policy

Zaytun Shop empowers creators and businesses to earn lawfully (halal). All shops and promotions must comply with these rules:

  1. Halal Products Only — No alcohol, pork, intoxicants, vaping, or non-halal items.
  2. Truth in Advertising — Accurately show products; no fake reviews or deceptive claims.
  3. Transparent Partnerships — Sponsored or paid content must be clearly labeled (“Ad,” “Paid Partnership,” etc.).
  4. Fair Business Practices — No counterfeit, stolen, or misbranded goods.
  5. Authentic Food Representation — Restaurants and home chefs must show real menu items — no misleading visuals or ingredients.
  6. No Fake Engagement — Buying followers, views, or likes is forbidden.
  7. Ethical Sourcing Encouraged — Highlight local and sustainable efforts honestly.
  8. Health Claims — Must be scientifically supported and not misleading.

🔞 Regulated Goods and Activities

Strictly prohibited:

  • Alcohol, tobacco, vaping.
  • Narcotics or controlled substances.
  • Gambling or betting.
  • Firearms or explosives.
  • Hazardous materials.
  • Counterfeit or stolen goods.
  • Unlawful food items (e.g., non-certified meat).
  • Prescription drug sales without license.

🧾 Account Safety and Moderation

  • Age Requirements: 16 + to join; 18 + for LIVE and Shop.
  • Accurate Info: Maintain truthful account details.
  • Violations: Severe or repeated breaches may lead to temporary suspension or permanent ban.
  • Public Accounts (e.g., organizations or scholars): Must adhere to the same rules — no exceptions for status or popularity.
  • LIVE Features: 18 + only. Hosts are responsible for their guests and content.
  • Comments & DMs: Be respectful; harassment or spam will lead to restrictions or bans.
  • External Links: No links to haram, unsafe, or deceptive sites.
  • Monetization: 18 + users only, subject to content eligibility and disclosure rules.

⚖️ Enforcement & Appeals

  • Detection: We use AI and human moderators to detect and remove violations.
  • Notice: Users will be informed of content removals or account actions with reasons.
  • Appeal: You may appeal through the in-app Safety Center.
  • Consequences: Actions range from content removal to account ban depending on severity.
  • Severe Violations: (violence, child abuse, terrorism content) → immediate ban + report to authorities.
  • Transparency: Zaytun AI maintains a Transparency Report showing moderation metrics.

🌍 Public Interest and Educational Exceptions

Content that raises awareness or educates (e.g., documentaries, religious education, culinary heritage) may be allowed even if sensitive, provided it is clearly contextual, respectful, and does not promote harm.
Such content may be age-restricted or flagged with warnings.
